DUT students to appear in court

Wongalethu Maquthu
Seven Durban University of Technology (DUT) students were arrested yesterday in connection with the protest that took place at Kenrol Property residence last week.
According to Point SAPS they are being held on the charge of public violence.
The students were held overnight and will appear at the Durban Magistrates Court today.
Students who reside at Kenrol Property went in numbers last night (being led by EFFSC) to Point police station to support their fellow students.
EFFSC did not comment on the matter as they were waiting for their lawyer.
