Lil-Lets discuss periods with men

Lil-Lets has introduced Lil-Lets Talk Guys where women openly discuss and ask men what they know about periods.
“How clued up are the men in your life? Try the #LiLetsTalkGuys challenge at home and tag @LiLets_SA and @SheIsBokang in your vids for a chance to win a Period Care Pack,” Lil-Lets tweeted.
Bokang Lehlokoe partnered up with Lil-Let’s and made a video on YouTube (The B Word) testing her dad and brothers on their period knowledge. In the video she gives each one of them sanitary products and asks them what they are and how they are used. Round three of the challenge was a quiz which consisted of questions and options where men have to pick which one option which they think is correct.

The Lil-Lets page asked women if have they ever asked a guy (dad, brother, boyfriend, friend) to buy them some pads or tampons and if so, how did they ensure they got the right thing.
“When I asked Bae, I would simply say Nana can you please buy me Tampons they are in a pink box from Lil-Lets. He will say “Ooh those things that you use when you are hurt”,” commented BuhlebeSizwe.
Men also joined the chat by stating that they do not mind buying women tampons or pads.
“I feel like us as men should be educated and also educate ourselves with periods, I see no problem with going to the store and getting sanitary products for my daughter or wife. I have done it so many times it is a norm for me,” said Sazi Ndlela.
