TWO INJURED IN CAR CRASH

Driving instructor and learner were rushed to hospital when their truck collided with another vehicle at the corner of King Dinizulu Road and Mbilo Road on Monday morning.
The victims were traveling in the truck of Mabanga Driving School when the accident occurred.
They sustained minor injuries. However, the driver of Mercedes Benz was not harmed.
Eye witness whose name has been withheld for safety reasons, said, “There was negligence in people who were in the truck, they went through an amber traffic light.”
When JournalismIziko arrived at the scene, the owner of Mercedes argued with police officers after one of the officers ellegedly told him to take the blame.
Sydney Mabanga, the owner of the driving school arrived at the scene and he had few words that were directed to the instructor who was already rushed to hospital.
“This is totally unacceptable, this was supposed to be avoided,” said Mabanga.
Both vehicles were removed from the busy road.
The eThekwini Metro Police Spokesperson Eugene Msomi was not available for comment.
