JOURNALISMIZIKO’S 67 MINUTES OF MANDELA DAY
By: Mhleli Mkhize
The Journalismiziko section editors working together with some Journalism students dedicated their 67 minutes of Mandela Day through cleaning their campus.
Campus cleaners were requested to rest as students took over their job for 67 minutes.
Students walked around campus picking litter to ensure a clean academic environment. This initiative was done to honour and respect the late Nelson Mandela for his selfless dedication in the country.
This was one amongst other plans by the University at large of using 67 minutes in doing something good for someone else.
