SUSTAINABLE LIVING EXHIBITION TARGETS STUDENTS

The city of Durban opened its fifth edition of Sustainable Living Exhibition on Friday.
The exhibition has grown immensely over the past years. Initially it covered a quarter of the Durban Exhibition Centre, but this year the Exhibition Centre was full.
Its main focus was to educate school students and the youth about sustainable living.
Puvendra Akkiah who was one of the organisers said the aim was create awareness to the young ones.
“We want the youth, children and the future leaders to actually take up the concept of sustainable living so we are investing in a future sustainable environment because they are future leaders.” said Akkiah
GOSTA Head of Department Nonhlanhla Qhoboshiyane said it was important to work with other organization in insuring that sustainable living is achieved.
