DURBANITES TREATED TO A BLESSED SUNDAY

Durbanites enjoyed a weekend filled with praise and worship at the Greyville Convention Centre on Sunday.
The Contento Group hosted their Gospel Brunch, which is a “one of its kind” monthly gospel show that takes place every first Sunday of every month.
The organisers described the event as a way of relaxing, enjoying good food and music like you are in the comfort of your own home.
“This is where you come after church and chill, mingle and have some good food around some good gospel sounds. This is an event which will sure fill you up after church,” explained Ntsako
Mkansi, event organiser.
“Hlengiwe Ntombela from Joyous Celebration is the regular host and this month we have Unathi Mzekeli and Ayanda Ntanzi who will be performing,” Mkansi added.
The event didn’t only cater for adults but it also had a children’s entertainment area where kids played as the event went on.
“Not only is the event unique but it is also the first of its kind to offer a comfortable family setting that accommodates kids in luxury as well.
The kiddies’ playroom will be like a home away from home and even better,” said Mduduzi Mkhize, event organiser.
“The gospel brunch is not just an event it’s a relaxation set up for families, children, friends and acquaintances to gather and unwind,” Mkhize added.
Fans and lovers of gospel music seemed pleased and happy of how the whole event turned out.
“This time around we got a hold of the tickets as we were unfortunate to miss the first show.
One of the reasons I am here is because I love Hlengiwe and I know I am going to be blessed,” explained Thuli Ntanzi, after she was left mesmerized by the performances.
