DUT STUDENTS GET A FRESH SELF ESTEEM BOOST

Female students from the Durban University of Technology (DUT) received a confidence booster when Coty’s Exclamation deodorant visited ML Sultan Campus on Wednesday.
Project Manager for Exclamation Promotions, Likho Mbhele, said that they understand the challenges that students face and how challenging it is to smell good since they were once
“The aim of this promotion is to boosts young girls from varsity’s self-confidence,” said Mbhele.
This promotion is a week-long and said to end on Friday. Female students were required to come and try one of the Exclamation perfumes and then take picture while jumping on a
trampoline inside a photo booth.
Nompumelelo Madiba, a Maritime studies second year student was one of the lucky ladies who won the Cosmopolitan’s latest magazine issue and other prizes.
“I am so happy that I won a prize, immediately when I saw the car I was so curious and got close because I really love freebies,” said the excited Madiba.
The promoters spend long five hours of their day at the campus, pampering and cheating students how smelling good can be a boost for your confidence.
“I really enjoy working with students I get to touch different skins and meet different personalities, said Zimbili Nako, one of the promoters.
The students came out in numbers waiting in long queues, some practising their poses as they went on with the queue.
“As varsity students we’re always running up and down, so we sweat easily and perfumes are expensive so we’re really appreciate what Exclamation is doing for us,” said Nonsindiso
Mbhele also added said she has no complaints whatsoever about the promotion that has been going on at the University.
“It has truly been a blast, I love these young girls and I hope they will continue to love themselves and take good care of their bodies even after we have left,” added Mbhele.
