NEDBANK’S TALK4SUCCESS ASSURES THAT DREAMS DO COME TRUE

Nedbank hosted its second Talk4Success conference at the Playhouse last Wednesday, which aims to motivate the youth to never give up on their dreams.
Songstress, Nandi Mngoma who is known for her signature German cut, was the main speaker alongside the new Top Billing presenter Zoe Brown.
Thomas Ciko, executive manager for consumer banking, also joined the TV personalities on stage to encourage big dreamers.
Ciko, who is also an established entrepreneur, said that the purpose of Talk4Success is to awaken the talent hidden in South African communities, people who have big dreams but
don’t know how to start.
“You have to learn to face the unknown in order to make it in the multiple business fields as a person,” said Ciko.
Nandi Mngoma emphasized that no matter how well-off you may be in life, but you still need God to get by.
“My lowest point in life was when I was a runner up twice on TV shows that I wanted to host, not because I wasn’t talented enough but because I only depended on my talent and not
God,” Mngoma explained.
After getting her big break into the industry, Zoe Brown said that the mistake that anyone can do is to compare their chapter two to someone else’s chapter five.
“We all have different books and different stories but no matter what don’t stop writing your book,” Brown said.
Throughout the conference, people were told and given examples of how someone can start from being a big dreamer to someone who achieves great things.
Young entrepreneur Anele Sithole, who was part of the audience, said that she really learnt a lot from the speeches that were given.
“I am so inspired and mesmerised at the same time. I would really like to thank Nedbank for giving back to people like me,” explained Sithole.
Ciko concluded that people must follow them on social media platforms to find out more about Nedbank’s exciting plans for future.
