NICKELBACK HEADING BACK TO SOUTH AFRICA

Canadian rock band Nickelback are set to perform live in South Africa this December.
It was announced on Saturday by Big Concerts that Nickelback will perform in Cape Town and Johannesburg. The Johannesburg concert will be on the 6th and 8th of December 2013. Cape Town concert dates have not been confirmed yet.
The “Rockstar” hitmakers who are the voices behind “Hero” and “Far Away” will be playing at the Coca Cola Dome as part of their Hits Tour.
Nickelback was formed in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta, and has since become one of the most successful Canadian rock bands. The band is composed of lead guitarist and lead vocalist Chad Kroeger, rhythm guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger, and drummer Daniel Adair. They have sold over 50-million albums worldwide. Lead singer Kroeger and the bands biggest hit “How You Remind Me” was listed as the rock song of the decade.
The band is on number seven on the Billboard list of artists of the decade with four albums listed on the Billboard top albums of the decade. The band has also won numerous awards and 12 Juno Awards among 28 nominations.
Tickets for the Nickelback performances in Johannesburg will start going on sale on Friday at Computicket. Fans can expect to pay between R450 and R790 for tickets. Nickelback fans are ecstatic about the bands expected arrival. After all its been 7 years since they last graced our shores.
