NITRO CIRCUS LIVE IN DURBAN

Written by: Elizabeth Kunene
Over 20 000 people packed the Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium to witness extreme sports at the Nitro Circus Live Tour.
The circus started in Durban three years where extreme sports fans watched the world’s first spectacular tricks and mind-blowing stunts. Nitro Circle Live 2017 topped that show with never-before-seen tricks and signature styles.
Action sports icon, Travis Pastrana, made his debut at the Moses Mabhida stadium with cheering fans behind him.
Pastrana told East Coast Radio that he is really excited to finally have the chance to ride for his fans in South Africa.
“I was so disappointed that my broken leg side-lined me last time. I kept hearing how awesome the shows were and that the crowd energy was off the charts. It’s where some of our all-time greatest moments happened live and I can’t wait,” said Pastrana.
Nitro Circus Executive Chairman and Global Head of Creative, Mike Porra, said that he is excited to be back in the country and can’t wait to meet all South African fans.
Durban was the second stop of the three destination tour. The global action sports phenomenon will be going to Johannesburg for their final show on Saturday the 28th October at FNB Stadium.
