The Durban University of Technology Photography students attracted a huge audience as they showcased their talent last week.
The platform was established for students to share with a broader audience, the work that they have produced in their learning area of Photography.
According to the Photography programme co-ordinator, Abdulhaq Bhorat, the exhibition was a success. He expressed his satisfaction with the work that was exhibited by the students, and the crowd they pulled in.
Bhorat said,” students have displayed team effort in putting the exhibition together and I am very happy with the turnout. The work has exceeded my expectations and hopefully it helps them advance in their learning process.”
Nduduzo Xulu, a 3rd year students who exhibited his work, said that the exhibition paved the way his talent to be discovered by potential employers.
Xulu said,” I am happy to be showcasing my work because we work very hard on these things. The exhibition gives us exposure and I am hoping to work in advertising, if employers like my work.”
