SBU’S LOUNGE … THE PLACE TO BE

It was a killer night at Sbu’s Lounge at Inanda over the weekend as Durbanites’ well known Def Jammers (DJ’s) got together and showcased their talents.
With just R20.00 to enter the premises, many fans struggled to get in which resulted in security beefing up as security guards were armed with guns.
DJ Thato opened up the event with some commercial house tracks that kept the fans on their feet. Amongst other local DJ’s that were there was DJ Max, Mphoraiza, Dura, Joniboy and the man that the fans were anxious to see ,Dj Bongz, taking centre stage to do what he does best.
Bongz played some of his well-known tracks such as “Sobuyes’bonane, Emabalabala andKwaz’ Kwamnand’ among the few. It is such hit tracks and performances that led to some of the fans tying by all means to share the lime light with him on stage.
Next on the line up were 10 Blocks, the two brothers Kurt and Lee Beard from the Revoke group. Not forgetting Nkhanyiso Mkhize along with six dancers who entertained the fans through songs and dance to Kwaito music.
Fans were impressed to see such an extraordinary performance as Sbu’s Lounge has never hosted such an event with outstanding performances.
Event organiser,Qatha Khuzwayo said, “Everything went well and attendance was good although there was a huge problem with regard to the local artists.”
Dj Sox was amongsts other artists who were expected to show up but he did not make it due to unknown reasons.
Qatha furture said, “I thank the public for support and the owner of Sbu’s Lounge Mr Sbusiso Goqo for allowing me to host this event.”
