By Nomvula Ndlovu
Multi-platinum selling Johannesburg-bred quartet The Parlatones are coming to Durban for a one night show of exquisite entertainment on the 19th of September 2013.
The concert will be at the Umfolozi Hotel Casino, Convention Resort in Empangeni. This will be their last show in the city before they leave for their tour overseas. Tickets cost R200 and fans are expected to be at the door 30 minutes before the show begins.
The Parlotones moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to focus on their American market and give it the attention required to truly make an impact and achieve the results they have enjoyed in other territories.
According to the band’s website, the band has made a huge success overseas and is eager to perform in South Africa after a long time. Lead singer Karhn Mobee told Timeslive that “Durban has always been a great location for sell out shows and the fans truly appreciate us”.
The band will perform their all times hits like, Push me to the floor, I’ll be there and many more. However, they want to give away the ultimate fan experience to celebrate the release of ‘Stand Like Giants’.
