WHAT FREEDOM DAY CELEBRATIONS MEAN TO YOUNG PEOPLE
By: Dale Munatswa
KwaZulu-Natal residents came in large numbers for the Freedom Day celebrations held at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday.
Majority of the mass were young people. Born after the independence of South Africa, most of them had an idea of what they were celebrating and what it meant to them.
When asked what Freedom Day meant to them, this is what they had to say.
Evidently, all these views come to conclude that people of different cultures, races, ethnical groups and gender are happy to live in a free South Africa.
