A bad start for KZN teams at the MDC

Multichoice Diski Challenge (MDC) kicked off this past weekend and it is not looking good for KwaZulu-Natal teams as they all lost their opening matches.
The challenge kicked off on Friday, 9 August, when AmaZulu FC welcomed Orlando Pirates at the King Zwelithini Stadium and the game went to the Buccaneers by a goal to nil.
On Saturday, 10 August, two KZN teams were in action. Maritzburg United hosted SuperSports United, and they were trounced by SuperSports at 5 goals to 1, thanks to Knowledge Miyeni for a consultation goal. The win took SuperSports to the summit of the MDC table. Later on, Golden Arrows welcomed glamour boys, Kaizer Chiefs but the KZN team also got thumped by 4 goals to 1.
