Belgian Jupiler League side has confirmed the signing of Brighton Albion and Hove player, Percy Tau.
The Witbank born player joins the Vincent Kompany coached outfit on loan as he goes out on loan for the 3rd season in a row.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns player joins the ‘Paars -wit de Sporting’ after having issues with his working permit which prohibits him from pursuing a career in the English top flight.
South African National team star, Tau spoke on the Clubs website and expressed his delight.
“I am part of a team that always wants to play good and attacking football. That suits me perfectly. RSCA has a style of football. We are made for each other. I will do everything I can to contribute to this team and guide the club back to where it belongs: to the top of Belgian football.”
Although the side won’t feature in any European competition in the upcoming season having finished 8th on the log, the club’s sporting director, Peter Verbeke sees Tau as an important part of their rebuilding plans.
“Percy is a player who already knows our capital and the league. He is a creative, technically strong, fast, and agile player, he can play in various attacking positions.
He further added that “Tau has already demonstrated that he can be efficient and decisive. We are of course happy with his added value to our squad.”
