BAFANA READY FOR SUDAN TEST

Bafana Bafana mentor, Shakes Mashaba revealed that they will pull out all stops against Sudan on Saturday in their second last match of the 2015 AFCON qualifiers.
After three training sessions – two on Tuesday and one Wednesday, Mashaba believes that his men are ready for their test at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The squad, made up of youngsters, claimed a 3-0 win over their opponents in the first round of the campaign away from home.
“By tomorrow (Friday) we will be having a team and we will release the team as soon as we finish,” Mashaba said.
“We are working on the reshuffling in training to bring those who were not there in the first game, make them aware what to expect in their different positions,” said Mashaba.
He elaborated that in their training sessions, they have been working on playing as a unit.
One of the senior players in Mashaba’s set-up, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, said that they will handle the pressure very well since the AFCON spot is in their hands.
“As a team we are taking each game as it comes. We know that it won’t be easy, they (Sudan) are not an easy team but we’re working hard at training,” said the man who is set to make his 50th appearance for the senior national team.
Although Letsholonyane has been part of squads that failed to qualify numerous times, he believes in the current squad.
He said, “Now it’s different because we’re getting three points away. They (youngsters) have been doing well in the four games that they have played.”
Mashaba will announce the captain for Saturday’s game later on Friday evening.
