Thusi said that he thanks all his teammates by putting more effort on this game and playing as a unit.
“I have to acknowledge all my teammates who played very well on this game, it’s important to work as a team,” said Thusi.
“I think we also need to improve in our passes more especially in short passes, we were not good because even in our long ball we were not able to connect well.
“But I promise all Baltimore residents a good game on our second leg on Wednesday,” said Thusi.
Mayville captain Sphamandla Makubo said that the game was very tough for them.
“It was a tough game for us, we did not play our usual game because Baltimore was very strong and had pace.
“I promise all Mayville residents, a great game on Wednesday, so they must come in numbers to give us a support,” concluded Makubo.
Mayville showed lack of confidence on the ball and this led to them conceding three goals.
