Former Sundowns defender Anele Ngcongca has died

Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender has died after being involved in a car crash.
The 33-year old was thrown out of the vehicle in the early hours of Monday morning and died on the scene.
During the crash, Ngcongca was with a female companion who is currently in a critical condition in hospital.
More than a week ago, Anele Ngcongca left Sundowns and joined AmaZulu FC after it was revealed by the Siya Crew that AmaZulu had been keen on landing Ngcongca to strengthen the team after their slow start of the season.
Ngcongca has played for teams such as FC Fortune, Western Cape Province United and joined Belgian United in 2007. In 2015 he joined Troyes AC on a season-long loan. Two years later, 2017, Ngcongca joined Mamelodi Sundowns and was also a part of the South African national squad, Bafana Bafana. The late star played in the 2010 FIFA world cup.
The Cape Town born former defender’s marriage came crashing last year after his former wife whom they have a daughter with, Linda Racaza cheated on him. Ngcongca then decided to go public about his new relationship with former Kwaito star, Mshoza who died 4 days ago. However, their relationship did not last long as things quickly turned sour for them and they departed.
