MONEY MAYWEATHER MAKES MORE MONEY

American Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr beat Mexican Canelo Alvarez to make him more richer by earning $41.5 (R407.41m) in one of the most richest fights on Saturday night.
Mayweather dominated Alvarez in the 1st couple of rounds, pounding him with big right hands and squeezing him into the corners. The unbeaten best boxer in the world frustrated the Mexican and made him look like any other boxer like he said he would. “I just listened to my corner, listened to my dad,” Mayweather said during an interview with ESPN after the match. “My dad had a brillian game plan, and I went out there and got the job done.”
Mayweather is still unbeaten in 45 fights and added to his tally of the junior middleweight title to his collection in a fight that people were expecting him to be defeated hence his opponent was bigger and also unbeaten.
Alvarez did not capitalized on his extra weight as he couldn’t connect his punches to Mayweather’s face as his opponent was too quick with the foot work making it difficult for him to land jabs. “No doubt he’s a great fighter, a very intelligent fighter,” said Alvarez.
According to ESPN, the Mexican said before the fight that he had the game plan to solve Mayweather’s tricky defensive and fast hands. If it failed, he said, he had other game plans he would implement to win the fight. None of his “plans” worked as soon as he got into the ring and found how difficult the American can be. “At the same time, he also missed me a lot, his punches landed on my gloves,” he said.
Mayweather won 117-111 and 116-112 on two scorecards but suprisingly, the third one had the fight 114-114. He made $73 million in two fights. He beat Mexican Robert Guerrero in May this year and now Alvarez.
