Once again Ronald goes down in history books, this Juventus player becomes the first to score 50 goals in the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A, FIFA confirms Monday night.
In addition to becoming the fastest player since 1995, Cristiano Ronaldo put Juventus on the brink of a ninth consecutive Italian league title on Monday after he scored twice in a 2-1 win over Lazio.
According to GOAL Ronaldo’s spot-kick means that he has also equalled Giuseppe Signori’s 1994-95 record for penalty goals in a season, with 12 successful conversions from inside the area.
Going back before he signed with Juventus, this Portuguese scored 450 goals in 438 games and he won virtually every major domestic honour and four Champions league titles while he was still in Real Madrid.
Not forgetting six years with Manchester United where he scored 118 goals in 292 appearances and was named one of the world’s greatest players with a maiden Ballon d’Or win in 2008 after the Club’s own European victory.
Ronaldo has shown that his talent stands impressively unmatched even as he approaches the dusk of his career.
