RWC 2019: Springboks geared up for the All Blacks
Coach Rassie Erasmus has named his 23-man squad set to face New Zealand in the opening pool B match on Saturday, in Yokohama, Japan. (Kick-Off @11:45am) South African time.
Springboks named the same starting XV and eight replacements that defeated Japan, 41-7, in Kumagaya earlier this month for a mouth-watering clash against the All Blacks on Saturday.
The Springboks team will carry the image of 1995 world-cup winner, Chester Williams, he was a shining star of the Springboks’ 1995 campaign but passed away from a heart attack in Cape Town two weeks ago, he was aged 49. Williams made his debut against Argentina in 1993 and went on to play 47 matches for Boks and scored 27 tries.
