While several Bidvest Wits players examine their futures over the next coming weeks, one of them is heading back to Europe.
Despite local interest, the Siya crew has been told that winger Kgaogelo Sekgota will return to his former club in Portugal.
The winger joined Bidvest Wits (the Clever Boys) in January from Vitoria Setubal. The agreement was spending six months on loan, and Wits would have an option to buy him completely at the end of the current season.
However, with the club now officially sold to businessman Masala Mulaudzi, according to sources has complicated the deal.
It is known that the new owners are keen to have Sekgota relocating to Venda and join Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila from next month. The 23-year-old, who still has two more years left on his contract with Vitoria, is expected to head back to Portugal until a decision is taken on his future.
Sekgota featured in ten games for Wits since joining prior to the January transfer window. The game have perhaps not been as regular as he would have liked.
He has done well in his first Premier Soccer League experience and could return permanently, that relies on the discussions with the club.
