DURBAN TO HOST WAFA WAFA FINAL

The Premier Soccer League announced on Wednesday that the MTN8 final will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
In a statement, PSL CEO Brand de Villiers said that a number of venues were considered for this year’s MTN8 final.
“We engaged a number of role players before we could take our decision to take the MTN8 final to Moses Mabhida. Durban has been good to us in the last few finals we have taken there,” de Villiers said.
“Our last final at the Moses Mabhida was sold out within few days to go the match and we are hoping to replicate that. I would like to thank other cities who also showed interest in hosting the Wafa-Wafa final.”
De Villiers revealed that tickets for the final MTN8 final will go on sale in the next few days.
“We will not know the two teams that will play in the final until Tuesday, 24 September 2013 but we cannot wait that long before we print tickets. Tickets for the final will go on sale before the semis are played this will create excitement amongst the fans.”
In first semifinal of the second leg, Orlando Pirates will lock horns with Kaizer Chiefs at Orlando Stadium. This is going to be a third Soweto giants Derby this season with the previous two both teams sharing a win. The first leg which was played at FNB Stadium was won by Pirates, by one goal to nothing.
The match will start at 15h00 and the tickets are selling at R80 for adults and a limited number for children under 12 years will be made available at R10 for this game.
The second semifinal feature will see Bidvest Wits play against Platinum Stars at the Bidvest Stadium at 19h30. Tickets for this game will sell from R40 for adults and R10 for children under the age of 12. Tickets are available at Computicket and Shoprite stores countrywide.
The final will be played on the 28th of September at 20h15.
