Defending Champions Mamelodi Sundowns will host their Tshwane arch-rivals SuperSport United in the quarter-finals of the Telkom knockout competition, revealed a draw that was made on Thursday.
The draw was made instantly after the African Champions’ Masandawana’s TKO 2-0 match win against Polokwane City yesterday evening.
Soweto’s big guns Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates avoided each other this time around, as last season’s competition runners up Amakhosi hosts Free State stars and the Buccaneers welcome Highlands Park.
Baroka FC were the forth team to receive a home draw as they will be playing against Cape Town City, with the semi-final spot at stake.
The matches are set to be played on the weekend of November 05/06, with the Premier Soccer League (PSL) set to announce venues, dates and times at a later stage.
