AmaZulu FC will be looking to redeem their previous performance against Chippa United on Saturday at Princess Magogo Stadium.
The side is yet to win a game after seven matches in the 2014/15 Premier Soccer League campaign, but they have managed a victory against Bloemfontein Celtic in the Telkom Knockout clash.
The Durban-based side has only three points this season after playing out three draws and four losses.
Usuthu caretaker coach, Wilfred Mugeyi, is eager to beat his former employers and claim the first three points of the season for his squad.
“It is a must win game for us, going into the next game against Free State Stars, which is away. We need to build the momentum now from the previous game,” he said.
With the club struggling at the back, Mugeyi revealed that they will make changes in their back four.
“This is an opportunity for the other defenders to show what they are capable of. It is up to them to grab this opportunity with both hands,” Mugeyi said.
Going into their next fixture, the players are gearing up for a win under their new mentor.
Striker Ayanda Dlamini said that it is crucial for them to win the game in order to justify their losses.
“We have to win against Chippa at all costs, for our sake and the fans too. They are a good team but we have to be strong in defence because they are an attacking team,” said Dlamini.
With three of their regular defenders out for the encounter, Mugeyi revealed that Roybn Johannes might start if he passes the fitness test.
