In the second half, Storo FC came more rejuvenated and nearly gets an equaliser when striker Nxumalo fired from long range but the ball hit the cross bar. A nice combination in the middle from Storo FC saw United struggled to contain them but there was no end product.
When Storo FC pushed up, they were left vulnerable at the back and Nxasane made a great run from deep to grab his hat-trick and gave United a marginal lead in the 70th minutes.
Nxumalo was showed a straight red card in the 73th minutes after his goal was disallowed and he insulted a referee. The 10 man of the losing side pushed for the two goal cushion but it wasn’t meant to be as United snitched all three points.
United are now sitting comfortable on top of the table with 21 points and Storo FC behind with just four points.
Storo FC will be looking to bounce back when they take on the bottom of the table side, Legends United on 1 August at Albert Pack.
