Taxi shortage ahead of Easter weekend.

A day before Good friday, marks a very busy day for all the country’s national roads as most people were moving from Urban to Rural to spend Easter holidays with their loved ones. But the Durban Eastern Cape rank, almost came to chaos, you would think that everyone from the province decided to go to Eastern Cape this long weekend. “Siyagoduka qha” was the common words from those who vowed to stand in the long ques, with heavy baggage. It was the first time the rank ran out of taxis even after so many loads. Taxi conductors were on cellphones all day organising more taxis, not forgeting passengers wining.
