Mzansi mourns the death of kid comedian, Ndlovu
South Africa is deeply saddened by the passing of the kid comedian Ndlovu, also known as Ndlovu Wayigeqezisa/ Ndlovu waseBhayi.
The passing of the energetic and bubbly young entertainer was confirmed by his grandmother in the early hours of Sunday, she said his passing was due to pneumonia.
The young entertainer from Veeplaas Township, Port Elizabeth is said to have been admitted to Dora Hospital last week when he started feeling weak. “Ndlovu was taken to ICU Saturday, I was then called by the hospital on Sunday informing me about his passing”, said Nomonde Fanele Ndlovu’s grandmother.
Ndlovu became South Africa’s instant hit years ago when he came in the spotlight with several videos of him uttering his clan and asking for two Rands circulating the social media.
IPokolina, as he was also recognized, was not only a hit amongst usual South Africans he was also loved by many of the celebrities in the entertainment industry. Ndlovu was friends with celebrities such as Dj Oskido, Dj Tira and Skhumba.There were also accusations of L’vovo being his long-lost dad on the social media platforms.
In 2018, Ndlovu joined the music industry and released a debut album titled “Pokolina” and had a hit song “Kubo”.
Shock and condolences continue to pour on the social media platforms with the #RIPNdlovu.
According to an announcement by uMhlobo Wenene FM, a drive-thru memorial will be conducted in his hometown Thursday. Ndlovu is to be laid to rest on the 29 of August 2020.
