Newlands West community on supporting Ndoni
The Newlands West community is excited about this year’s Idols South Africa top 16.
With a late kick-start to this year’s season 16 Idols show, many were uncertain about the production of it, due to the covid-19 regulations. In keeping in line with the health regulations, the highly viewed show kick-started at a later date on Sunday, 2 August.
The show began on an intense note for the contestants as there had to be many changes made in line with covid-19 regulations. That did not stop some of the contestants from standing out and giving some good performances. One of which was Newlands Wests very own “Ndoni” real name Phumzile Mseleku.
When I saw her face on my television I knew that she is the same girl I went to high school with, said Noxolo Ndlovu.
Phindile Mazibuko said that they even go the same church in the Newlands West area, Christ Worship Centre (CWC). Ndoni is part of the worship team at church said Mazibuko. She also added that she has always known Ndoni as having a beautiful voice and always felt she needed to do something about her gift. CWC is behind Ndoni all the way to the finish line.
“Many people let their fears stand in the way of utilizing their God given talents,” Mazibuko concluded.
