Tressor featured on Drake’s Fountains song
While tweeps were celebrating that Tems had been featured on the newly released Drake’s Fountains hitsong, Afro-pop singer Tresor has revealed that he wrote and produced the same song.
The Sondela hitmaker took to socials to announce that he is behind production of Fountains, a song taken off Drake’s Certified Lover Boy album.
“I’m truly honored to have been invited to write and produce new music with my brother Drake, for his new album Certified Lover Boy (#CLB),” he tweeted.
The singer is one of the writers that wrote Fountains which featured the Nigerian songstress
Tems, the song is reportedly behind her meteoric rise to fame.
Showing his gratitude, Tresor gave a shout-out to people who were involved in the making of
“Major love to my brother Oliver El Khatib and the OVO Sound team for reaching out and
making this happen. I’m forever grateful, I thank you for making room for me and for your kindness,” he said.
He went on to reveal that on the production he worked with Batundi, who is one of his signees under
his record label named, Jacquel Entertainment Group.
“This song was done at our Jacquel Entertainment Group studios here in Johannesburg, South
Africa, with production contribution from one of our talents Batundi,” he added.
Tresor made a name for himself after he produced hit-after-hit such as, Never Let Me Go,
Mount Everest and Silale, the list goes on.
Most importantly, Tresor debut’ album VII recently earned him platinum status five times.
