CHIEFS AND MAJORO PART WAYS

Kaizer Chiefs and Lehlohonolo Majoro have finally parted ways, the club confirmed on Saturday.
Majoro previously snubbed a deal to Supersport United after he refused to sign a contract extension with the Soweto giants. The former AmaZulu forward had already signed a pre contract with Amakhosi arch-rivals Orlando Pirates and he is now expected to join the Bucerneers.
Talks between Chiefs and Bucs fell apart when Pirates allegedly refused to pay half a million for him. Majoro was also spotted at the Orlando Stadium during Pirates’ game.
These news emerged from Chiefs official twitter account, as they released a statement saying that the club and Majoro have reached a settlement to part ways and the player has been released from his contract.
“Yes we have released Majoro from his contract and now he can join a club of his choice. We as Amakhosi wish him a very best of luck in his future endeavours,” said Vina Maphosa, Chiefs public relations officer.
Maphosa referred JournalismIziko Sport to the player’s agent Tim Sukazi, stating that he’s the one who can reveal more information.
Majoro was allegedly told to stop training with the team after the news that he signed a pre contract with Bucs emerged.
The Ladybrand born hitman scored a whopping 15 league goal in his maiden season in Durban at AmaZulu.
Majoro played 57 games and scored 20 goals for Amakhosi, he has been capped 10 times for Bafana Bafana and score only twice.
