The Unity Group led by Michael Southwood had recently launched burn a mask Campaign in KwaZulu-Natal and in Western Cape, Major General Thembisile Patekile Police Commissioner for Western Cape  confirmed that a case had been opened after hundreds of anti-vaxxers gathered in Sea Point to protest the possibility of a vaccine passport.

According to The Unity Group the surgical masks are harmful to human body as they contain harmful chemical substance knowns as Graphene Oxide, which causes congestion in human lungs that can lead to Lung Cancer.

This march comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa had commended the more than 353 000 people who heeded the call to be vaccinated against COVID-19 during the first Vooma Vaccination Weekend on Friday and Saturday, 01 and 02 October 2021.

It is reported that people at the march that was held in Cape Town were harrasing those who were wearing mask telling them to leave masks at home for their safetey, protesters  wanted to escalate non-compliance campaign to heed a call on those who continue to abide by the government laws on mandotory vacciness and vaccines passports.

Southwood had emphasised on people not wearing mask as they will benefit their health.
