Hitmaker Busiswa loses over 500 songs, after studio equipment stolen
Multi-talented musician Busiswa has announced that she had lost over 500 unreleased songs during a burglary at her home studio, on Monday. In what could have been a near decade of work was lost when the queen of Gqom became the latest victim of crime.
The singer is said to have lost studio equipment worth thousands of rands among which were computers, portable speakers, and monitors.
“The greatest regret is the loss of over 500 songs and visual content on the computer tower and personal computer (MAC PC),” Busiswa wrote on Twitter.
The Banomoya singer said she was offering a reward of R40 000 for a the safe return of her items, she pleaded with anyone with information to come forward.

In addition, the Bazoyenza hitmaker said what she lost is an amount of work that has been in the pipeline for almost a decade.
“Close to a decade of work that is essential to my career and my children’s legacy,” she explained.
Busiswa is no stranger to entertainment industry, as she has released popular songs over the years ranging from, Ngoku to Midnight Starring to SBWL, all these songs have had more than a million views on YouTube. She has three studio albums under her belt and on top of that has bagged two awards namely Most Gifted Dance Video (for Ngoku) and Best Kwaito Album for Highly Flavored.
