TREVOR NOAH HITS IT BIG TIME!

South African born comedian, Trevor Noah hits Comedy Central’s nighttime lineup and is in the midst of a transformation.
Jon Stewart, longtime host of The Daily Show, officially signed off the air on 6th August.
Replacing Stewart as host of The Daily Show, after a remarkable 16 seasons run on Comedy Central’s most popular program by far — is South Africa’s own Trevor Noah.
In the wake of Noah’s hiring, Comedy Central president Michele Ganeless told Bgr.com that the cable channel selected Noah after aspiring “to find someone who brings something really
exciting and new and different.”
Noah is set to hit the screens in September and will not surprisingly put his own twist on things.
Entertainment Weekly reported as Noah spoke at the Television Critics Association’s press tour last week Wednesday and detailed the types of changes fans of the show can expect to
“It’s no longer predicated around 24-hour news. There are so many different choices. Half of it is online now. The biggest challenge is going to be … how are we going to bring all of that
together looking at it from a bigger lens as opposed to just going after one source.”
Noah emphasized that the new show will try to look at things from different angles.
“I’m taking things in a slightly different direction, but to the same endpoint,” said Noah.
“The way we look at the same story will be completely different. We have different access to different jokes, different sides, different sensitivities … the most important thing is the place
that you come from,” he added.
Fans anticipate to see the comedian on screen.
Joel Maharaj said, “It will be exciting to see how the new changes on Comedy Central’s, Daily show turn out for the enthusiastic comedian and we wish him all the very best!”
Trevor Noah is set to hit comedy central’s The Daily Show early next month.
